Ambre 114, so-named for the 114 notes that make up its composition, takes its inspiration from that Eastern custom of perfuming, perfume originating in the term per fume, which means "through the smoke". A brisk herbal feel and some beautifully blond, resinous woods means that the scent retains an airy lightness not commonly found in amber compositions. The fantastic aroma of roasted herbs and spices add movement in the opening, while a subtle vanilla and benzoin provide a creamy, dusty ending.
