A mix of Orange Blossom Absolute, Caramel-Vanilla and Liquorice, Guimauve de Noël is for master perfumer Michel Almairac - exclusive perfumer for Parle Moi de Parfum - what they call in France a « Madeleine de Proust ». It's a very old memory from his childhood when he was still a young boy. During Christmas, he loved a dessert called « Fougassette ». Like this brioche bread with orange blossom on the top, Guimauve de Noël (which translates as Christmas Marshmallow) is sweet, but not sugary, and flowery but also spicy thanks to the liquorice that cuts the sugar and also adds a strong unisex feature to the fragrance. Cocooning and sweet,Guimauve de Noël captures the comforting, immediately identifiable scents of childhood and Christmasand offer an instant of respite, of letting go, of tender and reassuring memories.
